Inspiring the Youth at City of Bristol College - Street2Boardroom

On January 14th, Clayton Planter, founder of Street2Boardroom, delivered three inspiring sessions to L2 and L3 Business students at City of Bristol College.

Speaking to these students, our founder, Clayton Playton showed that his message and vision can connect with his younger audience. By changing up his approach he was able to match his diverse range of students’ language with his message of turning street hustle into a successful career.

His sessions gave insights in a way that was both relatable and motivating, providing valuable advice on developing business ideas and discovering their purpose. Clayton emphasised the importance of taking action now and not waiting for the “perfect” moment, inspiring students to seize opportunities and pursue their goals. The students all gave positive feedback. With students feeling empowered and inspired by Clayton’s message.

Liz Ellis-Hutchins, the Community Campus Lead, stated;

“Clayton was inspirational, he spoke the students language and switched up his style of delivery to engage the diverse range of students we had for each session. Students feedback was, they found it gave them the push they were looking for. They took away tips on business ideas and purpose. They realised they needed to get on with things now and not wait until after college.”

Clayton’s presentation showed the important transferable skills that individuals can hold, emphasising the importance of recognising and using these strengths in a business context. He stressed the importance of operating ethically and legally, aligning perfectly with Street2Boardroom’s core values.

As Clayton continues to empower individuals of all ages and backgrounds through his impactful presentations and speeches, the vision and mission of Street2Boardroom continues to expand.
