The Story Behind Our Mission To Disrupt The System
Street2Boardroom is on a mission to disrupt harmful stereotypes about individuals from 'street' backgrounds, showing off their transferable talents, aspirations, and capabilities.
Founded in collaboration with the Prince's Trust, our journey began with an impactful 8-week motivational course. This program achieved tangible results, facilitating transitions from the drug trade to corporate employment and fostering pathways to higher education. We saw people go from tough situations to good jobs and even back to school.
We're big believers in giving people that boost of confidence they need to succeed in the workplace and beyond. Street2Boardroom isn't just a class; it's about making real, lasting change in people's lives. We connect communities with businesses, creating job opportunities and helping neighborhoods thrive. We want companies and community leaders to see the talent that's out there, even if it's not in the usual places.

Clayton Planter
Clayton Planter's work with people from the streets and disadvantaged areas is deeply personal. Growing up, he admired the local 'boss men,' but his mother pushed him towards a better school. He succeeded in his career, but saw his friends struggle with crime and limited opportunities. This drove him to create Street2Boardroom, bridging the gap between street skills and the business world. Clayton's ability to connect with both environments is key to his work, empowering individuals to break cycles and build successful futures.
